Reviews: The Intercontinental Houston garnered a 76% approval rating out of 141 user reviews on trip advisor.com. Fifty of those were business travelers while fifty-three of those were couples. The reviews bragged about the customer service, soft beds and cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast at the hotel dining establishment was considered more than fair. The most notable complaints were the lack of free internet services, having to pay for parking and a few cases of bed bug infestation. As a note for travelers, the bed bug infestations were limited to 2-3 instances and the guests were quickly moved to another room without pests. Parking at hotels in large cities often results in an additional daily charge.

The Indigo Houston at the Galleria is a unique hotel at a bargain price. Predominantly geared towards couples vacationers, Indigo Houston at the Galleria delivers such perks as an on site restaurant, on site fitness facility, tennis courts and dry cleaning service. Located near the trendy Galleria area, this hotel is close to all Uptown Houston nightclubs, the theater district and the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. With a standard room starting at as low as $88 a night, the Indigo Houston at the Galleria is a low-priced luxury.

The Indigo Houston at the Galleria is for the business or vacation traveler that wants to be close to all of the local hot spots without paying an exhorbitant price. The uniquly decorated atmosphere is something to be admired as well.

Reviews: The Indigo Houston at the Galleria received a 83% approval out of the 68 reviews available on Trip Advisor. These reviews were attributed to a majority of couples with only 13 of the others being business or solo travelers. Postive reviews included the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff was helpful and friendly and the beds were as comfortable as sleeping at home. Those that had special events they were celebrating were met with small gifts from the hotel. Complaints include checking in to a room that wasn’t cleaned properly, tiny rooms with oversized beds, having to pay for a shuttle ride to the airport and a brief period in which there was no hot water in the entire hotel.

The Best Westchase Mini Suites are designed for those travelers that require plenty of room to spread out at a reasonably low-price.

Reviews: After searching through numerous review sites such as travelocity, expedia and tripadvisor two things became clear rather quickly. There are a small amount of reviews available and the ones that are listed are 100% positive. Adding all of the sites together there are around 20 reviews. They praise the overall quality of the Best Westchase Mini Suites. The staff is said to be extremely friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and furnishings were appreciated especially the extra pillows. There were cookies, wine and fruit offered every afternoon in the lobby area. Mild complaints were the mostly carbs breakfast provided which was remedied with a trip to the IHOP next door and a slow flushing toilet which maintnence was quick to fix.

Praise came from the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff, the overall cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast foods available and the shuttle that makes several trips per day. A few visitors comlained about having ants invade their room when a soda was left open on the table. An overall theme was noticing the neighborhood was one that is apparently being ‘renovated’ and therefore is questionable in safety. They recommended taking the shuttle or driving everywhere and not to walk.
